The popular and well established local medical practice, Toukley Family Practice, is delighted to announce that their new allied health hub is open and taking patients. Located in Shop 7, next to the chemist, just down the hall within Toukley Family Practice, the fresh allied health facility offers patients a range of services including podiatry, nutrition, psychology and occupational therapy.

Will Delahunty is available Monday and Wednesday at Toukley Allied Health 8.30am-4.30pm, he is also available for consultations at Tuggerah Medical Centre on Tuesdays and Coast Sport in Tuggerah, on level 1 above Mariners Medical.

Linda Drake completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology in 1997 at Macquarie University after completing her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology with Honours in 1988. She continually maintains her clinical and other professional skills by regularly attending conferences, workshops and specialist skills training sessions.
Diana Bentele is our other registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists in the Australian Psychological Society. She is registered to provide services under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Car Program and with the NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority for services concerning Workers Compensation and Motor Accidents.
Diana works with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Positive Psychology. Appointments are available on weekdays as well as on Saturdays.
Occupational Therapy services
Occupational therapist and counsellor
Elwyn ten Brink, our lovely occupational therapist provides bulk-billed services for those referred by their GP on Enhanced Primary Care Plans or on Mental Health Care Plans.
Community Occupational Therapist services include; home and functional assessments, education of clients & carers on strategies to maximise home safety and function, recommendation, design and application for funding assistance for home modifications (both minor and major modifications) etc.
Counselling services include; grief and loss counselling including separation and adjustment issues, personal development and training in stress and anxiety management, family, parenting and relationship enrichment counselling and solution-focused therapy, Sensory Modulation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
